Pontoon Pricing (HST not included)
Daily: $450 for resort guests, and $500/day for non-guests.
Half-day: $300
Half-day rentals for the pontoon can be made only on the day of the pontoon rental (no advanced bookings)
Weekend (2-day): $800 guests, $850 non-guest
Weekday (2-day): $750 guests, $800 non-guest
Full week rentals (7-day): $2,650

Fuel Charge:
Our pontoon boat has a 110L built-in gas tank.
Boat will be sent out Full. Upon return Fuel usage will be calculated in 1/8th tank increments at prevailing price at Esso Havelock for 91 premium gas +10% (delivery charge) – per gasbuddy.com.
Example: 1/8th tank = 13.75 Liters
Havelock price - $1.40 + 10% = $1.54/L
13.75 x $1.54
Fuel Charge = $21.75 for 1/8th used

A $2,500 damage deposit will be collected at the time of booking.
Boating license (Pleasurecraft Operators Card) is required for Pontoon rentals.


Question: Can the pontoon be used on another lake?
Answer: No. Our boats can only be operated on Oak Lake at this time.

Fishing Boats

Rent one of our 14ft/9.9HP Aluminum fishing boat. Rates are $150/day for guests of the resort and $200/day for non-guests. With our 9.9HP fishing boats, a boating license is NOT REQUIRED.

Guests staying at The Trace are also welcome to bring, launch and dock their own boats at our property at no extra charge! Our boat launch regularly accommodates boats as large as 20 feet (typically shallow-draft pontoons at that size).


*Guests are solely responsible for launching their own craft at the The Trace, and in doing so agree not to hold The Trace or its staff liable for any issues or damage that might result. If a guests requests that The Trace staff assist them in launcher their boat (ie: drive their vehicles, or attach the boat to one of ours), and in that process damage is done to the boat, the guest agrees assume full responsibility for the damage and waive any liability claims against The Trace or its parent company.*
