Relax in our wet cedar barrel sauna! Saunas are known to have great health benefits - The heat from the sauna relaxes the body's muscles, improves circulation and stimulates the release of endorphins. Endorphins are the body's all-natural "feel good" chemical, and their release provides a truly wonderful "after sauna glow." Reduced risk of hypertension (high blood pressure) with regular sauna use, and have the best sleep of your life. Enjoy at any time of the year.  Our Spa area also has an outdoor shower, bucket shower, and cold plunge tub!

Join us on the terrace for our Yoga classes! Our certified instructors will guide you through your morning practice with a stunning lake view! Multiple studies have confirmed the many mental and physical benefits of yoga. Incorporating it into your routine can help enhance your health, increase strength and flexibility and reduce symptoms of stress, depression and anxiety. There's no better way to start your day at the cottage, if you ask us!

Our classes are held every Saturday morning at 9am, from June to September and are $10/class for guests. Drop-Ins for non-guests from Oak Lake and surrounding areas are welcome at a price of $20/class.

Cold Plunge

By now, you may have heard about the benefits of a cold plunge to your health. Leading medical institutions have stated that a regular cold therapy practice can lead to decreased inflammation, reduced stress levels, boost injury recovery, and have significant and sustained increases in dopamine and endorphins. Our beautiful Japanese-style cedar Ofuro tub is maintained at a constant temperature of approximately 50 Fahrenheit, and can be enjoyed throughout your stay.

Want to get a little workout on during your stay? The Trace has a rough and tumble outdoor gym for all guests to use which features: a smith rack, pull-up rack, preacher curl bench, dumbbells and a bench press station.
